Happy April's Fool Day! So far no one has fooled me. What has been going on today is art and boiling down maple tree sap.
This morning one of my friends posted a link to Another Limited Rebellion's Creative Sprint. The "sprint" is to create art every day in the month of April. Today's prompt was, make something that fits in the palm of your hand. I made an accordion birthday card for my sister,...and yes she is also getting maple syrup for her birthday.

Happy I joined the Creative Sprint otherwise I probably would have only boiled sap today.
(boiling sap is a time sucker, what was I thinking???)
In other news, spring is slowing creeping in. The skunk cabbage has pushed it's way out of the mud and the ticks are out. (could do without the ticks)

Love the card. The accordion idea is really good. A sap boiler... Could catch on you know. Does it smell nice or is it horrible when boiling?
