Art Talk Tuesday

I love contests and challenges! Lilla Rogers, an art agent, is having a world wide talent search. Of course I signed up. On July 1, I will be emailed an assignment. Thrilled to have an assignment! I believe you can take up to three weeks to complete the task. A panel of judges then narrows down the entries to fifty. Those fifty will be given a second assignment. The field gets narrower after that but I'm can't remember the details. I am basically focusing on round one. Not holding my breath that I will make the second round.

It does cost $29.00 to enter the Talent Search. So why do it? This as a chance to glimpse at a professional contracted artist assignment. Its a peek into the unknown for me.

ReplyDeleteContests and Challenges are really a great way for me to stretch myself and reach further. It goes hand in hand with the completely independent work I do, too, and enriches it. It's cool that Lilla is doing this.
