Mail Art!
The sweet kitty cat was made by Lynn Radford at
Trash Bubbles and Life's Little Bits blog.
Love the warm colors and details.

Snails!
This block print was hand carved, printed and painted by Hannah Koch.
Hannah's blog is, Artist Holiday.
How lucky am I to get such wonderful mail art!

You can find links to both Lynn's and Hannah's blogs to your left on my blog roll.

A while back I had posted that I was invited to participate in Ryosuke Cohen's Brain Cell mail art projects.
I sent Mr. Cohen a block print of a red wing black bird.
My print didn't make  issue #855, only my name.
A list of artist accompanied the issue, 54 artist are represented.
I wasn't the only one who is represented by name only.

My last name is odd so I hope people will remember it!
Eudaly, pronounced   long U, ... U-daily.

Here is a close up of the bottom section.

I now have two issues of Brain Cell.
That's way cool!

Coming up this week:
I pick up my 3D Wetland from the Art of Recycling Show. I was told I placed, just not sure where.
On Art Talk Tuesday I have more to say about block printing. This week is about where to find supplies
and "how to" carve and print.

Have a great day and stop back soon!

  1. Hi Jill,
You're a blogging machine! I had missed just a few days, but so many images and events for you. It's always fun to see your mail art samples - as a cat person, I loved Lynne's piece.Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

    1. Yes, I am blogging a lot. I now have reliable internet connection. Before it was like throwing spaghetti on the wall, I hoped what I typed stuck. Before, the connection dropped every few minutes, it was maddening!

  3. Throwing spaghetti on the wall sounds like "art" to me. Maybe you should throw some on a canvas and see what it looks like. . . Me, I just paint landscapes on canvas.

  4. Thanks Jill! Glad it made it. Next time I will use thicker paper and just a tad larger. That was recommended to me from the postal employees. I love seeing all your goodies you get in the mail!
