I strongly believe that one can find inspiration wherever they
find themselves, just look around!
My neighbors (and also relatives) have two teenage boys who
are quite industrious. They started scrapping metal to make money.
When they started out the boys used their parents truck and a pull
behind trailer, with money they made they now have their own truck.
These two boys bring home huge amounts of junk and
sort it. I think this pile must of come from an old farm dump,
most of the metal is well weathered.
Every once in a while I wonder over and check out what
they have brought home.
Of course I take my camera!
( rust lovers, this is for you)
Stop texting, put your cell phone down.
There is a lot to see,
just look around.
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I don't have a cellphone, so I see a lot!!!

I used to have a car that didn't look that good.
ReplyDeleteLove that wheel at the end. I am surprised you don't go scoop some for projects, that pile is too tempting for me. xox
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered if the rusty stuff can be salvaged? There can be a lot of money in the scrap metal business - these kids are on to something.
ReplyDeleteA rust lover's dream come true! Must adhere rusty objects to backing and make it a feel like a jewel! The patterns and the focus in your photos is wonderful! I so enjoy your perspective.
