I have been out in my yard collecting bits and
pieces to make art.
I have a strong belief that we have an abundant
amount of materials in our homes
and environment to make art.
If you need inspiration, pick up a bag and
walk around your house or go outside and
start collecting things you see laying around.
Your bag will be full in no time!

My mom just got back from Alaska.
Some of the trash from her trip made it
into my collection bag.

Collage materials!

I hope to sit down and create something soon.
Picking up my camera right now fits my life
style but my hands are inching to hold a
a pair of scissors or a paint brush.

We are getting back into the swing of school and after school activites.
I'm also trying to get involved with the local
artist association. (Having time issues with that one)
The really big news is that I'm working on getting
myself studio space. I'm tired of my family living in the middle of
my work space -- anywhere and everywhere-- inside my small house.

As for my family.....they can't wait to box up my art supplies and
send me out the door!

  4. I agree that we need to look no further than outside our door but then it is great to add some other man/woman made materials.
