Me in a magazine

I just got the fall issue of Green Craft Magazine, I'm in it!

It's kinda a funny story....maybe.

Last Christmas a local news paper was looking for

people who had creative gift wrapping ideas.

A friend gave the reporter my name.

I laughed big time...I couldn't wrap a gift to save my soul.

I'm a gift bag girl all the way!

But I always have ideas so I told the reporter I would come up with something.

It was the week before Christmas and I worked hard on three ideas.

A photographer came to my house.

The news article ran two days before Christmas.

There was a large WORST UNFLATTERING picture

of me bent over painting news paper and

one REALLY small picture of one thing I made.

I was so mad !!!

I spent hours making stuff for the article...

it was the height of the Christmas season..

a busy time of year!

I have been kicking around the idea of sending the

reporter a copy of the magazine....

I kinda see it as lemons to lemonade,

so I better let it be.

Remember a few months back when I unsuccessfully tried

to make some of my artwork my blog background? It was purple blocks.

Well it was this purple wrapping paper I tried to use as a background.

Looks better in the magazine!
