Mail!
The mail art has been rolling in and it's time to share.
Corrine has been busy, as always. She is a gifted mail art artist.
She is also an art teacher and spreads fun in her spare time.
Corrine has moved from her dosfishes blog to a dot-com site.
She is just back back from Washington D.C. where she
toured the Smithsonian National Postal Museum.
Check out the last few posts on her web site,
This piece Corrine made for my
April showers brings May flowers mail art swap.
I had a rule that pre-stamped postcards from the post office be used
as a base for the mail art.
Well, it turned out not to be such a good idea.
The postcard paper was very thin.
But Corrine came through!
This postcard was her first try at Trashpo art, pretty good stuff!
We joined the Trashpo Mail Art group.
I have yet to send any Trashpo mail....I'll get to it soon...I hope!
Hi Jill,
ReplyDeleteLove your new banner and Corinne's new pieces too. ABout the April mail art, I forgot to explain that the Canadian post cards really weren't a suitable ground for the project so I bailed on that idea and used another.... oops:)
Thanks for my mailaliscious preview and shout out. I appreciate that you are enjoying the mail. Those prepaid post cards are really thin, maybe the post office is economizing.....xox
ReplyDeleteHi Jill,
ReplyDeleteLovely new banner! Corrine's work is wonderful, and fun to see on your blog! Jane
