The New Year

Last week I was in our local news paper.

The story was creative gift wrapping.

I had gobs of black tulle leftover from Halloween

so I wrapped a bottle of champagne in the tulle and tied it together with a white ribbon.

I thought it would make a nice hostess gift for a party.

After all the gifts were open at my house all I could think was,

"We did out part in giving the American economy a boost".

Now where do we put all of our new stuff?
