News

Well it's over. Yesterday was the play.
This is the cast of Twisted Family Folklore.
Eva is the little witch in the center of the picture, look for the green stripe in her hair.

These kids have taken up a bit of my time over the last three weeks.
But I have to say that I have lots of fun hanging out with them.
(I made the backdrop and helped with the costumes.)

The tall witch in the center (black and pink dress) is Miss Kelly our fearless
acting teacher/director/playwright. She is one of the most talented and caring people I have ever met.
All the kids and parents are in awe of this woman.
( And she knows how to have fun!)

Eva as Titchyna the witch.

Being that I was "playing" around with the kids I never got to do the Virtual Paint Out last month or get an entry into the Functional Art show.

I did get news about the painting grant....I didn't get it.
Oh well, I knew it was a Looonnnggg shot.

I guess I need to get back to
The Sketchbook Project 2012.
Time is running out.
I have a project with a due date.
Better get cracking!

  2. I figured that is where you have been. I bet you really enjoyed it. Glad you got to do it, you will remember that for ever. I just couln't get back in the painting mood, but did start on a small one. It seems to take longer to paint a picture on a small canvas than on a large one. Of course I am hung up on details (grin). Glad you are back on the blog.
