Yard Work
This photo is part of my on going project "Yard Work". I making art out what I find in my yard.
I found this piece of metal along the road in front of my house.
I've been collection insect wings.
The birds only eat the bodies, gross but there you have it.
Not sure where these images will end up but I know something will develope.
Okay, better get back to my house work.
To bad it's not my "House Work" art project.
Between vacation and painting spree, my personal living space had fallen into....
no way around it, A BIG GIANT MESS!
I do hope Wanda from
drops by to name my bugs!
Art is much more important than house work.

ReplyDeleteWell! I thought I posted a comment late last night. I gave this some thought, and I have finally identified these two species. The first I call fish face tincanarium (pesci-tincanarium to be precise. The second is, I do believe, the flirty blue berry clover fritillaria. Thanks for sharing these. Remember "Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species" from biology class....Yeah!
ReplyDeleteReally diggin' the "yard art"!!! And the rusty tin too!! :)
