Ready to go!

I'm feeling really good today. I finished my Sketch Book 2011 Project!
Today I hope to drop it in the mail --- note, several days before the January 15th deadline.

This page was made possible by Corrine Gilman

The collage behind the window pane was part of a highly decorated mailing envelope Corrine made.
Lucky for me it made it's way to my mailbox.
 Thanks Corrine!

The page above and the one below were done in ink.
Loving those inks I bought a few weeks ago.

This page is when the water recedes after
"a record year for rainfall".

The rain has stopped!
Now here comes the snow! Oh No!
That's how my book ends.

The other project I'm working hard to get done before I go back to work on January 3rd is the
"stencil garden". It's  the reader challenge in the Nov/Dec issue of
Cloth Paper Scissors. The magazine has a flower stencil that you can use in any way, in any media.
A photo of the  finished piece needs to be emailed to the magazine by Jan 14th.
If you don't have a copy of the issue, check out their website for the info.

  1. Thanks for the mention, glad you could use the envelope, there may be some contributions from Lyle in there too along with mine. I have so many
mailing envelopes we have swapped that we are all part of it. Her blog is www.almostheavengifts.wordpress.com, check her out too! Your inks turned out to be quite inspiring. Good luck on the flower stencil piece. Don't forget to show us when you are done. xox Corrine
