Oh, oh, oh it's magic
It's the first day of school !!!
Eva wanted to make a statement on her first day. She looks tame for her. School has been a struggle for Eva and many a day its been a fight to get her on the bus. If she wants to dress crazy or have a wild hairdo I let her go just as long as she gets on that school bus.
Not sure how long the tote bag will work for her. It's huge! I tried to talk her out of it, we still have last year's book bag as back up.
Her teacher this year is Mrs. Mars. I figure she has been a third grade teacher for a few years so she has to have a sense of humor. I'm sure she has endured many wisecracks about her last name. With any luck I won't get a phone call about Eva making some comment about her teacher being an alien or worse.
The sun is shining and I'm dyeing more bags and working on fall leaves for a store window.
I'm home alone!!

That is a huge bag, sure she won't walk with a limp after carrying it all day.

I will have that song in my head all day now, I remember it well. My son Jay (now 24) was known for speaking his mind so I remember some of those
phone calls from school. Enjoy your time alone! xox Corrine
