Happy Day

Happy Day, Emma at A little Bit of Everything got my post card.

I also picked up a pile of leather and some tools from my friends today. My husband is using the work space where I hope to set up my loom soon. My father in law built me the tapestry loom over the winter. Its been sitting in our bedroom since I brought it home. My husband thinks its a clothes rack.

I've never used a tapestry loom, nor ever seen how one is used. Should be an adventure!

Until my work space frees up I am giving the magazine art another shot. Using a stretched canvas this time. I thought I would try oil painting over the winter. I started a painting but the still life subject was sad and boring. So first thing this morning I gave the canvas a white wash and dug out the magazines.
