I'm spending the summer as the craft director at a kids summer camp.
The building above is the Craft Cabin. The cabin was built in the 1940's. The outside needs some repairs and paint but the inside is impressive. Large beams and thick wood slab worktops and benches have held up just fine.

The snake in the rafters was made during Art Camp by campers. Bob the snake is a permanent art installation inside the Craft Cabin.

The camp is tye dye crazy. Art Camp campers made tye dye rice. Why you ask? At the end of Art Camp an art show was held in Rice Hall.

Some of the kitchen staff boys spray painted their bikes. They were going for a tye dye look.

Well I'm off to camp.
Have a great day and stop back soon!

  1. I never heard of tie dye rice, or for that matter, neither have I heard of tie dye bikes. Tie dye T-shirts I have heard of.
