Spring is in full swing, finally!
I'm working at the environmental education center several days a week.
Yesterday the oak pollen was falling like snow.

This fish watched me for several minutes.
That's duck weed floating on the water.

The skunk cabbage is knee high.
What's skunk cabbage you ask?
Those lovely large leaved plants smell like a skunk if you break one open.

Trillium are in bloom.

Wild violets are popping up all through the woods.

Get outside and see what's blooming in your neighborhood.

From my last post: The wild turkey has not been seen on her nest in a week. We fear our frequent visits to the area may have scared her off. The nest is perched where we teach almost daily.

Have a great day and stop back soon!
