Happy Tuesday!
The sun is shining here today. You might say, okay, that's good.
BUT, if you live in Pittsburgh, the fifth most "Overcast" city
 in the country.
( it was a big news story here last fall)
IT'S A GREAT DAY!
I have some other things to be thankful for today,
Mail Art!

The wonderful winged heart postcard flew into my mailbox last week.
It was created by my friend  Lynn Radford.
I believe she had the postcard made for the Liberate Your Art Project 2014.
Check out Lynn's blog trash bubbles and life's little bits.

Next up is an example of a trash bubble sent to me by Corrine Gilman
of
Love the graphics on this sweet little box.

Thank you friends for sending me sparkling bits from your hearts!

Still working on the hornet's nest.
I joined a local creative writing group.
My brain seems to have slipped out of art mode as
a side effect of joining Harmony Ink.
Today I spent some time in the studio making art. I am
looking forward to holding up in there again tomorrow.
( as long as I don't get sidetracked...)

I also found treasures in my studio today.
(husband would disagree with the term)
While rummaging around, a lunch size brown paper
bag fell of a shelf. I had no idea what was in it.
Well look at this!

A collection of interesting goodies from the woods.
Eva and I collected them on a walk a few months ago.

I'm thinking about incorporating these organic materials into my
hornet's nest piece. Will roll it around in my head for a while.

Hope your Tuesday is filled with sun shine and fun finds.

Stop back soon!

  1. I used to live in your area and remember all the cloudy, over-cast winter days.
