Mail Swap
I am holding another mail art swap.
This time there are a few rules.
1. You have to use a stamped blank postcard from the post office
as the base of your piece.
The front of the postcard has the stamp and it's where you put the address,
that leaves the backside open for art.
2. There is a theme!!!
April Showers Bring May Flowers.
This is just a jumping off point, take it wherever you want.
3. I will email you with a name to swap mail art with on
April 16th.
If you would like more than one name..I could do that.
4. All mail art should be sent out by April 28th...
lets try to have it so the postcards show up in
mail boxes around May 1st.
5. Email me if you want to take part in the mail swap.
Ideas for the back of the postcard:
Doodles, rubber stamps, collage, paint, markers, a poem, a prayer,
a wish list, a photo,
Using more than one postcard...like a puzzle.
Here is an idea from Jane Smith of Oceanside CA,
Jane made a flag/banner out of mail art.
She used my birds from the Valentine's Day swap.
Art work hanging on Jane's porch.
What a good idea!
Lovely, Jill! And I will email you to participate in the postcard mail swap.

I had such fun last time, and I definitely need to get myself unstuck and relocate my art supplies after the winter away...... I'm in! Again you inspire me by joining the INUOMA!
ReplyDeleteOkidoki, sounds good. Love Jane's mail banner - great idea!
