It's that time of year.

Chistmas cards.
I have made mine for years.
Every year I swear that I will buy a box of cards next year.
Usually by now I have inspiration or an idea of a theme for my cards.
This year I got nothin.

So, I made a challenge for myself.
Ten dollars and ten minutes in Joann Fabrics to find inspiration.
Me and my trusty sidekick (Eva) stayed under ten dollars
but we went over the time limit by two minutes.

We bought Martha Stewart snowflake rubber stamps and a small gift pouch.
I like the silhouett, and just two colors, on the pouch.
Not sure I can stick with two colors!

Rolling a few ideas around in my head.
Stay tuned!

P.S. Just wrapping up something for Cloth Paper Scissors.
If all goes well look for me in the March/April issue!

  2. Nice! I make my own cards too. I did buy a box of printed ones though because they had a funny Edward Gorey illustration on them...
Happy Monday to you too! xxo

  4. I know your cards will be wonderful. I have been making my cards for many years, also. We will have to get together for a "card creativity" evening. I now have about 120 or so cards in varying stages of completion. (Not all the same design...I'd go nuts if I were doing them all the same!) Also, Good luck on your Cloth,Paper,Scissors submission, and we'll look forward to seeing you in the March/April issue for sure!
